Finance, Data & Support
No two jobs are the same, but our Entry Level and Internship interview processes are pretty consistent. Here’s what you may experience across our Analytics and Sales, Data, Customer Support, Client Financial Services, and Supply Chain roles.
Application
Your candidate journey begins by submitting an application and your most up-to-date resume/CV through our careers page. Please review the job description to gain a good understanding of the role, the requirements, the department, and Bloomberg prior to submitting an application
Q&A
Applicants for positions in all departments will be asked to complete questions related to the role and Bloomberg.
Assessment
Applicants for the Financial Products Analytics & Sales, Data, and Customer Support positions will be asked to complete an online assessment as part of the application process. The assessment will take approximately 25 minutes and will measure a variety of qualities such as cognitive ability.
Pre-Recorded Video Interview
For many roles, you will be asked to complete a pre-recorded video interview where you’ll have the opportunity to express your unique personality and interests through this flexible and convenient format.
We recommend you find a quiet place with access to a computer and WiFi for 10-15 minutes. You will be asked to record your answers to a series of questions about the role, your experience, and Bloomberg. If the role you’re applying for has a language requirement, you may be required to answer questions in that language and in English.
Phone Interview
You may also have a phone interview with a recruiter. On the call, we will review your qualifications, such as your language proficiency, and answer any questions you have.
Assessment Day / Super Day
Assessment Days/Super Days are hosted at a Bloomberg office, typically at the location of the role you have applied for. They give you a firsthand experience of our Bloomberg work environment and culture, and enable you to see yourself here.
The schedule of the day can vary in format and length depending on the department and location. What you might experience during an Assessment Day/Super Day:
- Interviews with Managers, Team Leaders and/or representatives
- Skill-based assessment and group activities
- Building tour
- Job shadowing and/or job simulations
- Networking
