We could pull in and plenty of room to pull forward enough un-hitch maneuver truck around to park then where we could easily come and go. But not quite pull through as stated as there's a line of trees and a very steep drop off, it worked tho!! Lots were decent size, with fire-pit and picnic table, our friends stayed on our site in a large tent and a full size truck as well. It was oddly quiet every night even tho quiet time not until midnight?? I suppose that could all depend on the crowd! Resort is amazing, lots and lots to do, breakfast and dinner were good, we didn't do lunch. So many bathrooms and shower houses!! All perfectly spotless!!! Great HOT water!! We have a 31' travel trailer, and there were also motorhomes there. :)

Well… If you’re here for the rafting and the weather is good, your stay will be worthwhile. If the weather is not conducive, the campground is kind of a mess.
Do not risk your equipment by staying in a ‘Mountain Top’ RV site, not a fun transit… There are nicer locations for less $.

I apparently had a much better experience than the other reviewer. Yes there is a 13’9” overpass just as you get on Minden road but since most RVs are 12’ or less there is no problem. My stay was quiet and peaceful. I can imagine that during the peak season it can get rowdy with youngsters. My T Mobile phone reception was great. Data was low two bars at best. The office has guest Wi-Fi but it was weak on the lower RV level. That was my only negative.

Getting to this park was the real adventure during our stay. Minden Rd is narrow and curvy with a 13'9'' bridge greeting your driving adventure. While we didn't enjoy it, we were able to get our 40' MH + towed to and from the campground safely. Minden Rd isn't busy - but it could get hairy if you met another large vehicle in opposing traffic.

We stayed at ACE in November and were the only patrons in the lower RV area during our entire stay. There was a single RV in the upper area (which may have belonged to a park employee.)

Once entering the park you'll need to haul up 2 switchbacks to get to the lower RV park and 5 total to get to the upper campground. Much of the upper campground is designed for tents and is laid out festival style. There are several full-hook-up RV sites at the top though too. The upper/top RV sites are next to the paintball and OHV areas.

We stayed in site 40 in the lower area. It is a pull-in site, and though the map shows a road in front of the site, this road does not exist. You'll need to back out. The site itself is gravel, but it is surrounded by grass and that grass gets soggy very easily. The sites are awkwardly close together. They provide 30/50A, water, and sewer. They each have a fire pit and a picnic table.

Other than some maintenance work during the weekdays, the park was incredibly quiet during our stay. It probably helped we were the only ones overnighting in our area. Quiet hours are from midnight to 8 am.

The Adventure park (ACE) itself is enormous. Most all of the amenities were close while we were there in November, but we thoroughly enjoyed the trails. Near the entrance to ACE, you can walk down a quiet gravel road or hike an easy trail to get to the Concho Overlook - and vast view of a horseshoe canyon in the gorge.

In the summer, there is an inflatable obstacle park in the pond near the entrance to the park, ziplines, ATV rentals, bike rentals, a festival grounds/stage, and a bar/restaurant. They offer whitewater rafting trips and rock climbing trips too.

Cell service here is a bit shoddy - we pulled in 2 bars on Verizon, which was slow. We were able to jump on a Starlink cell, although we did have dropouts every 20ish minutes. ACE's Wi-Fi was blazing fast, however.
